Getting headaches from long hours on machines?

It turns out to be an illusion that headaches are caused by the brightness of the screens, the glare and all that jazz. In fact it is POSTURE. If you don’t keep your back straight when you sit with a machine for hours you get a headache because of pressure on your spine.

An eye scientist told me this. I tried it out and instantly my regular work-related headaches vanished.

I sometimes don’t even bother to put the brightness down on my screens at night! Why don’t hardware manufacturers make brightness settings capable of automatic control responding to levels of light shining on the screen? it seems fairly rudimentary. a bit overdue that invention
