Meta description won’t show up!

Hello everybody!

This question is about the meta-descritiption.

I want it to show up in my search results. It describes my site perfectly.

My site is about a specific herbal supplement. The keywords in the site relate perfectly to the words I put in my meta-description.

My site is all about a specific substance.

The meta-description that I entered for my site is: keyword-Traditional Uses-Clinical Trials-Extract and Shopping Resources

I entered this because this is what anyone googling this term would be interested in, either info, or shopping.

I’ve heard multiple explanations for this, and I hope the people here can help me out.

I’ve heard that it should be a specific length, but changes make no difference, and it gets crawled daily.

I’ve heard it needs the keyword, but it has the keyword, and everything else is relevent.

I really want it to show up because it perfectly describes my page and what people are looking for, it could help me stand out.

So why won’t it show up?
