perhaps a bit ‘grayhat’ but may be of interest to some..
Since google is auto-whitelisting metadata and microformat information on websites (such as that specified using hReview) it’s possible to game the system by manually placing your desired hreview code on your pages to get 5 stars and great ratings and a rich snippet on your SERP listing on google.
