What is going on here!!! Help and advice please!
I just logged into my AdSense and todays estimated earnings were 20-30 more then I average in a day!!! I rapidly went from excitement to panick.
I quickly logged into anaytics to see a huge spike in traffic (7000+) to one particular page. I checked the source and it was mainly "direct traffic" from unique visitors. I also noticed a lot (1000+) from various email clients (yahoo, gmail, etc). I assume the page URL was added to some mailing without my concent…and who would do this anyway?
I contacted Google immediately via the online support in AdSense, but is there a direct email address that anyone knows about? Please advise!
